The Commercial Club of Chicago is a non-profit membership organization of the leading men and women of Chicago's business, professional, cultural and educational communities.
To be considered for membership, candidates must be nominated in writing by a Commercial Club member and seconded by at least six other members.
Election to membership is limited to business and civic leaders of the Chicago metropolitan
area who shall be deemed qualified by reason of their reputation, position in their business
or profession, and service in the public interest, and who shall have demonstrated a strong
and continuing personal commitment to the club's goals of promoting the social and economic vitality of the
metropolitan area of Chicago.
Membership in the organization is limited to 350 active members. Total membership is approximately 500, including active, life and non-resident members.
